I came to GenAI through data science. I joined TCS in 2018 building predictive models for utilities, and moved through analytics and consulting into architecture. I still work like a data scientist: when the built-in hybrid search on the email assistant wouldn't let us tune its weights, we moved retrieval to Lakebase with BM25 so we could measure and adjust it ourselves.
Since 2024 I've helped grow one client engagement into eight AI and data solutions, including the email assistant, the charter platform and a causal analysis of what drives engine fuel consumption.
